A Movement Born from Grassroots Conviction
The APC Progressive Support Group (APSG) was born from the visionary leadership of Ìyáàfin Oluwafunmilayo Adejoke Ogunba-Koleowo — a passionate advocate for grassroots empowerment, inclusive participation, and sustainable political progress.
In the early 2020s, despite the electoral successes of the All Progressives Congress (APC), a crucial gap remained — the need for a stronger, more meaningful connection between leadership and everyday Nigerians.
Women, youth, artisans, farmers, and underserved communities needed more than representation; they needed access, voice, and empowerment.

Driven by her belief in Itesiwaju (Progress), Ìyáàfin began mobilizing individuals quietly but strategically — building a movement anchored on three enduring pillars: Preparation, Participation, and Opportunity.
What started as community dialogues, empowerment programs, and youth engagements quickly evolved into a structured and disciplined support movement — attracting individuals committed to integrity, service, and long-term nation-building.
Today, The APC Progressive Support Group (APSG) stands as a powerful grassroots-driven network, mobilizing citizens, strengthening participation, and advancing progressive leadership across Nigeria and beyond.

APSG gained formal recognition by the All Progressives Congress (APC), under National Chairman Sen. Abdullahi Adamu.
Recognition Renewed
August 27, 2025
The recognition was renewed under Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, affirming APSG’s growing influence and national relevance.
